Recently my parents visited the Art Picture House in Bury, which I just had to share with you! This old cinema has been very sympathetically renovated by pub chain JD Wetherspoon. It retains many original features and is a lovely place to call in for a drink or bite to eat after visiting the famous market. The pub chain have a history of taking on old buildings and transforming them sympathetically into attractive and affordable venues, having also restored the Palladium theatre into a pub in Llandudno.
